Recently purchased Ghost in the Shell Deluxe Complete Box Set and was super excited for it. It was delivered today and came in a thin packaging with no real protection which resulted in a crack in one of the top seams of the slipcase. Will be returning it to my Walmart store tomorrow and have already reordered it from Walmart themselves. Please consider better packaging in the future.
I dont have a review to leave just yet but I am definately worried because I too ordered without reading the reviews first. What does that say about Walmart if they continue to fix this company's screw ups over and over again. I mean really. Are they alright with someone they have under their "reputation " scamming and screwing people over? I would sincerely like to think they have a little more integrity than that.

After you buy the book they order it from amazon and reship it.
Horrid people. You DO NOT have permission to list my book at Walmart.com. You do not have permission to try to upset my hard work just because you saw it on Amazon.
Horrible service. Ordered an item in March. Still haven’t received but they had no problem taking my money. Sent numerous emails with no response
I canceled 5 minutes after a mistaken order and was told it was already too late. I wish I had had the sense to read the reviews.
I ordered a calendar for my son and had it shipped to him. Instead of a calendar he received a book. I realize mistakes can be made, but it was a real headache to return and get reimbursed for something I did not order. I had to repackage the book, figure out where to send it, and mail it back at my own expense. I did get reimbursed for the book/calendar after several emails, but not for postage. After contacting Walmart, Walmart gave me a credit for postage. Thank you Walmart. As for thebookpros, I will not be ordering anything else that would go through that company.

Great with half of my order...arrived in a few days. HORRIBLE ON THE SECOND PART, which they claimed they shipped to me twice! Almost a month later and neither one has been received. Customer Service wasn't on the ball, as they kept asking me questions that I had already answered in the email thread!
I ordered a book and they delayed my shipping date by 3 weeks. They would not let me cancel my order.
This company IS HORRIBLE. They did not have my book in stock but almost a month later won't refund my money. They keep your money and send nothing! They are impossible to work with also. DO NOT USE THEM> Walmart should not use them. They are a scam.
Disappointed. Placed an order for a book and tried to cancel after a couple of hours, because I couldn't cancel on Walmarts site. I had to email them. I too was informed per the notification someone would respond within 1 business day. I didn't hear anything till the end of the 2nd day and they say I can't cancel it. It has not been shipped but I still cannot cancel it. I will stay away from sellers other than Walmart since they are not serious.
I ordered a book from them through Walmart. The book that was sent was not even remotely close to what I ordered, and a third book was listed on the packing slip.
Have been unable to contact them and much to my surprise Walmart has been unhelpful in resolving the situation. I am rethinking ever buying from Walmart again after their non-help in resolving this
I placed an order by mistake and less than five minutes later tried to cancel. I received an email saying that the order had already been processed. I received the order about fourteen days later and followed the intructions to return it. After two weeks I had heard nothing nor received a credit so I contacted them by email. They responded by email that they had not received the returned merchandise. My guess is I will never receive a credit and they will never admit that they received it. It was my mistake to begin with but this company should not be trusted. I would never do business with them.
Apparently everyone is having problems with the product and a nightmare returning their items with their "amazing" return policy.
Shipped two items from Walmart Marketplace using this company. Everything else from the order arrived without issue. Three weeks later items from thebookpros hadn't been received. I checked Walmart and USPS websites and one book said "Delivered to Agent for final delivery" a week earlier. The second item said "Delivery Attempted". I contacted Walmart, who put me through to thebookpros customer service. The rep was rude and unhelpful. She couldn't process a refund because they hadn't received the items back and told me I would need to call USPS to schedule a delivery. I told her how much of an inconvenience that was and she said "that's not our fault" to which I responded that they choose to use USPS for shipping, not me, so having to take the time to track down packages myself was frustrating. I also told her I would be contacting Walmart to let them know I was not helped and, again, she didn't care. When I called the USPS number I was told the wait time was greater than one hour! I didn't have an hour to sit on hold, so contacted Walmart again, who refunded my money. While I understand the company can't control USPS, the rude behavior by the rep at thebookpros and her inability to understand that her company choose the shipping method and should be the ones dealing with shipping issues will keep me from using this company or Walmart's Marketplace, without looking for reviews of the companies first.
Cancelled my order on Walmart.com in just over an hour after placing it by calling Walmart and sending Bookpros an email on 5/22. Book wasn’t supposed to arrive until 6/6 and had not yet shipped as my card had not been charged. Bookpros emailed me the next day saying it was too late to cancel the order and I would be charged a 20% restocking fee plus have to pay return shipping. I again checked my card and it had not been processed, so they were lying . They know most people who order a $30 book are gonna give up and keep it if they have to pay $6 restocking and $10 shipping. I called Walmart and reported this unethical seller.

Dishonest company. Will not respond to any customer service questions. I wont use Walmart's website again.
