Shipped two items from Walmart Marketplace using this company. Everything else from the order arrived without issue. Three weeks later items from thebookpros hadn't been received. I checked Walmart and USPS websites and one book said "Delivered to Agent for final delivery" a week earlier. The second item said "Delivery Attempted". I contacted Walmart, who put me through to thebookpros customer service. The rep was rude and unhelpful. She couldn't process a refund because they hadn't received the items back and told me I would need to call USPS to schedule a delivery. I told her how much of an inconvenience that was and she said "that's not our fault" to which I responded that they choose to use USPS for shipping, not me, so having to take the time to track down packages myself was frustrating. I also told her I would be contacting Walmart to let them know I was not helped and, again, she didn't care. When I called the USPS number I was told the wait time was greater than one hour! I didn't have an hour to sit on hold, so contacted Walmart again, who refunded my money. While I understand the company can't control USPS, the rude behavior by the rep at thebookpros and her inability to understand that her company choose the shipping method and should be the ones dealing with shipping issues will keep me from using this company or Walmart's Marketplace, without looking for reviews of the companies first.
Cancelled my order on Walmart.com in just over an hour after placing it by calling Walmart and sending Bookpros an email on 5/22. Book wasn’t supposed to arrive until 6/6 and had not yet shipped as my card had not been charged. Bookpros emailed me the next day saying it was too late to cancel the order and I would be charged a 20% restocking fee plus have to pay return shipping. I again checked my card and it had not been processed, so they were lying . They know most people who order a $30 book are gonna give up and keep it if they have to pay $6 restocking and $10 shipping. I called Walmart and reported this unethical seller.

I wish I had read these ratings before ordering a book--I thought it was ordered from Walmart--and am extremely disappointed with the customer service from Book Pros. There are enough articulate complaints for Walmart to drop this company, so I hold Walmart responsible. I'll never order from Walmart again.
My book got sent two states away. Any contact info is difficult to find. I did find a number for probooks but the associate told me i had called “superbookdeals” they have no record of my order. Its looking like this place is mostly a scam. Im giving it one star because i cant rate it lower.
I needed to return a book TheBookPros. I accessed the online form to submit the return and the process indicated that there would be zero restocking fee and the return label generated by The BookPros would also cover the return cost of shipping. I also received a follow up email stating that a full refund would be issued, clearly stating both restocking and shipping costs were $0.00. I then printed the vendor-provided shipping label and mailed back the item. Ten after the returned item was received in by The BookPros, to my complete disgust, I received an email with charges for restocking and return shipping, only issuing a credit for a a very small portion of the item returned. I contacted them many times trying to get them to do the right thing and issue the full credit as clearly indicated in writing earlier. I received no reply. Be ware of their dishonest and deceptive return fees. WALMART GET RID OF THESE SELLERS!
Hello. I am a freelance artist and this company is selling coloring books by Catherine Bradford using Walmart.com.
All of the art in her coloring books is stolen from various artists on deviantart including myself. The Little Doll coloring book is full of my art and My Little Doll coloring book has my art on the cover.
I did not give this person permission to use my art for profit. This is illegal.
This company obviously does not look into who they publish. Plagiarism and Art theft is NOT OKAY!
Awful company. Walmart needs to dump them. I had a similar experience as Queenbee. They have terrible customer service, shady business practices.. keeping your money if you try to return, jerking you around if you try to cancel an order. This is not a company Walmart should be associated with. Avoid them at all costs.
I ordered 2 books from BookPros through the Walmart website. Only one has arrived (despite a delivery date promise of 3 weeks ago). However, the 1 book that arrived is not readable! The pages are all upside down! And the top 5 lines of text have been cut off from every page! They are not refunding my money because my “book was delivered.” NEVER ORDER FROM THEM! If I could give NO STARS, I would!
I ordered a book at Walmart.com from them and a few minutes later I realized that it was not the correct edition that I wanted so I called to have the order cancel at walmart.com. The Walmart person called thebookpros to cancel my order and they told her to have me call them in 24 hours and they would cancel it for me. Walmart and I both sent them emails to cancel the order that morning. Later that evening I checked the order and they had shipped the book out for delivery.
I called them the next morning and the agent there told me that, sorry she can't cancel because they already shipped the book. I received two emails from them stating by the time they got my emails they had shipped the book and I can return it with these instructions: I have to ship it back with cost incurred along with a 20% stocking fee will be applied. This company is ripping customers off and this is bad for all consumers. Walmart need to remove them from their website.
I ordered my book july11 and received it on july19. I am pleased with the book and would order again. I had read the other reviews and was concerned, but I had no problems!!

this source of obtaining books sucks!!!! ordered 1 book in January and still have not received it...never using them AGAIN!!!!! I had to rate 1 star but it deserves zero!!!!
Horrible company, my package was never delivered, so I contacted them like Walmart customer service recommended and they never replied. I tried again with Walmart “escalating “ my case and still no response. Finally I had a Walmart rep supposedly talk to some one and they said they would ship me a new one and send me a tracking number, still no response. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, Walmart whould cut ties with them they are trash.
I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received. I placed an order and tried via email to cancel it within a few hours after because you couldn't cancel on Walmarts site. I was informed per the notification someone would respond within 1 business day. I didn't hear anything till the end of the 2nd day. I received a shipping notification 1 business day after I submitted a second email. Per the email I have to ship it back with cost incurred along with a 20% stocking fee will be applied. I regret purchasing items from this sellers. I work in the customer service industry and we don't treat customers this way.
