We purchased a computer through Walmart. Approximately 2 months later the hard drive was no longer working. The company asked us to do some technical troubleshooting to no avail. The hard drive was fried. The company offered a refund but refused to refund the tax that was paid. We are reporting this to Revenue Canada. This goes against Tax laws. There has also been a complaint filed with Walmart since this also goes against their third party seller Policies. Despite providing a copy of the applicable policy, this company still outright refused to refund the tax paid.
