I ordered an office chair from CPO outlets in June 2021. The chair arrived in a timely fashion, and it was in good condition. Shortly after the chair arrived, CPO emailed me an RMA number with instructions on how to return the chair. The email was completely unsolicited. I had to call CPO to tell them I had not initiated the return and to cancel the RMA. They agreed the email should have never been sent, and they cancelled the RMA. Flash forward 6 weeks ... I get a notification from my CC company of an unauthorized charge at Walmart.com. Not knowing who made the purchase at Walmart.com, I had my CC company cancel my CC. Later that same day, I get a shipment notification from Walmart saying my chair has been shipped. I did not order another chair! Somehow, once again, a transaction was spontaneously initiated by CPO. I did not request an RMA for the original chair in June. I did not order a second chair in August. Clearly, their ordering system has issues, and it cannot be trusted. Walmart should discontinue their relationship with CPO, as they are a liability to Walmart. Walmart now has to deal with the return of the chair I did not order, and they "had" to give me $25 as compensation for the mistake. Although I am thankful for the $25, I am now without my primary CC for 7 - 10 days, and I am going to have to spend hours resubmitting auto-pay info to all my creditors because my CC # is now different. I wonder what CPO's commerce system will do next? I wish I had never ordered from CPO!
I ordered a Hessaire 950 portable evaporative cooler from this Walmart Marketplace Seller. The item was listed as being in stock, and delivery time was expected in 2 weeks when I placed my order. However, 4 days later my order was was cancelled with this message "We're very sorry, but due to high demand, we were unable to fulfill the items listed and had to cancel them." Had I known the item was out of stock, I would have selected a different marketplace seller. I feel it was disreputable for CPO Outlets to show the item as being in stock when they did not have it in inventory.
