I purchased the rose gold 2020 MacBook Air-Compatible metal--tip USB cord for I believe around $10.00 from Walmart.com about 3 or 4 months ago now. My Mac is in pristine condition and the charger itself is plugged into a SURGE PROTECTOR Strip, and NOT directly into the wall. About 3 weeks ago, I noticed a weird smell in my room, but could not figure out what it was, or where it was even coming from. Then, I am assuming, later that same evening; I was in lounge-mode on my bed, pounding-out some last minute work emails, when I noticed that the part of the charger that goes into my Mac looked "Off!" I pulled the charger out of the Mac, and I was shocked to see that the metal tip part was now bent upward, looking how I have always imagined a British man's 'unit' to look (no disrespect, just a weird thought I've had since adolescence.) Anyhoo...as I am observing at this 'now bent metal tip' of my charger, I happen to glance at the actual long cord-part of the charger and I notice (3) separate little round-brown scorch marks. Suddenly, my brain was a-buzz with data input and I was rapidly putting 2+2 together to get to the answer that is was indeed this POS charger that was causing the 'burning smell' in my room earlier in the day, and whatever happened to scorch the cord was so F'd up; it actually traveled the full length of the charger, clear up to the metal tip and bent that son-of-a-bit#@...WHILE it was STILL plugged into my $1,300.00 >2020 MacBook Air (also in Rose Gold).

Needless to say, I contacted @CopperDirect IMMEDIATELY through my online account with Walmart (which is how I purchased the item in question), so BOTH Walmart and @CopperDirect received the notification. I explained what happened, and the first rep of course tried to blame my wall socket (nope, it was a Surge Protector Strip), and then blamed my computer's battery[?] (nope computer is a 2020 BUT purchased about 8 months ago and like new). With this said...I was then told...REPEATEDLY...FOR 2-WEEKS...VIA CONTINUAL EMAILS...that @CopperDirect would be more than happy to replace my "obviously defective product!" This was a game we played...@CopperDirect and I, going back and forth, me asking when is the new charger coming, them asking for my shipping address YET AGAIN! I even offered to return the "Obviously Defective Charger," I just simply needed @CopperDirect to email me a pre-paid return shipping label, but NOPE...that "wouldn't be necessary." Just "be OTL for my charger replacement (that was NEVER to arrive)...FOR lo-and-behold...on 2/19 I believe; I receive an email from @CopperDirect (not a reply mind you, a completely 'NEW' email from a completely 'NEW' customer service rep), letting me know that:

Walmart Customer Service Team

Well ain't that just a big steaming pile of sh@#?! I mean, this company OR Walmart ( I am not at all sure since the email is signed off on by a @CopperDirect employee named Scarlet, BUT y'all will also take notice that at the very bottom of the email, it clearly says "Walmart Customer Service Team," played me by placating me with bullshit emails saying "Of course we will replace the defective charger for you," only buying them TIME, so that they can THEN come back at me and say "SORRY, we CAN'T replace the defective charger because it is NOW past the "expiration date" of when we "WOULD HAVE REPLACED THE DEFECTIVE CHARGER FOR YOU!" I seriously, have never in my 51 years, heard a bigger bunch of straight-up CRAP!

I then call Walmart customer service directly and Walmart rep states "WE HAVE ZERO TO DO WITH 3rd PARTY SELLERS SELLING GOODS AND WARES [ON OUR SITE]" (which in-and-of-itself MAKES THEM INDIRECTLY responsible to the buyer, as the BUYER ie. ME made the original purchase from WALMART and NOT from @CopperDirect, seeing how my credit card payment for the total purchase on that day went directly to dun dun dun da...WALMART! I tell the Walmart rep. this is not good enough, and SOMEONE needs to EITHER reimburse me IN FULL for the DEFECTIVE CHARGER...or REPLACE the charger with a new one LIKE PREVIOUSLY PROMISED BY @CopperDIrect! Now mind you, I have already been on the phone for well over an hour, and NOW because I am not merely going to 'roll over and play dead;' the Walmart rep from a country whose language I sadly do not speak, now offers to get me a "Supervisor who could better assist me." So I say, "Sure. Why not? So long as my issues are solved completely by the time I get off this phone call, what's another half hour or so?" Then...NOTHING! I am DISCONNECTED! HUNG UP ON! I simply could not believe it! I literally thought I was going to lose my ever luvin mind! Y'all will never EVER convince me that the call was NOT disconnected ON PURPOSE, as I 100% KNOW that it WAS! So, I gather what little sanity I had left, went to my account order page online, and clicked on @CopperDirect from my 'Purchase History,' as this would usually bring you right to their 'Market Place Seller Page,' allowing you to leave a deserving review, but NOPE! Though it states that @CopperDirect has something like 653 Reviews (which you cannot even click on BTW), below that is says: "Copper Direct has no reviews yet." It's F'n FISHY and it's FRAUDULENT and it's BAD F'n BUSINESS! So I scrolled down a little further on the same page, and there's a complaint box that goes directly to Walmart about the seller and the product. I write up my issue there AGAIN. Tell them of all the emails and of getting 'PLAYED," etc.. and hit send!

Today I get a response back from I THOUGHT @CopperDirect (but actually ended up being Walmart Customer Service) LITERALLY Benjamin Buttoning back to the very beginning where I was first being blamed for the F'n defective charger cord practically catching on fire and blowing up my $1,300.00 MacBook in the process...like it was an entire new case starting over from the beginning again! W H UC?

Folks...bottom line...DO NOT purchase ANY PRODUCTS from @CopperDirect! They are CRAP Products! @CopperDirect is a CRAP company with majorly BULLSHIT employees all backed by Walmart...an F'n WASTE OF SPACE department store that can F'n KISS MY IRISH A#@!

I hope this helps:)

The listing was for a 3 pack of adapters. The listing had arrows and sizes on both ends of the adapter showing that it was the ones I needed. They sent me the wrong adapters. They responded to my email demanding images. Once I sent them they replied that they were the the correct adapters. Customer service is quite lacking and does not seem to speak English fluently. They are thieves and quite willing to take your money. Too bad I can't give them zero stars.

DO NOT order from this company. They take your money but do not send the product. If I could rate them as a 0 I would but there's not that option . Walmart does nothing either. Wasted money, I will be disputing this charge

I bought earpods and the tracking shows it was delivered. when I went to my mailbox, the items was not in the box and my box had been tampered with. This is the first time happening and the rest of the mail was in the box. there is no way to contact CopperDirect or walmart. just wasted my time and money. if there was a rating of 0 star I would have given. I lost my money, never recieved my earpods and got my mailbox broken.
