MX PowerPlay

I received an email from MX Powerplay with pictures of scuff marks on a product that I had returned, stating that it was "previously installed and no longer in resalable condition." This company uses drop shipping, so I assume that they just relay information from their wholesaler/distributor when the product is received. It's unfortunate that they would complete a return transaction without at least reviewing the condition of the shipping box that it had been received and returned in, which had a side torn out and repaired by the shipping company, and which I assume was the cause the scuffs. I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1 because they did give me a partial refund, but it was a deeply unsatisfactory experience that left me feeling cheated, and honestly a little insulted. If the person completing the refund was aware of how the product functioned, they would also have been aware that a full installation would have left minor scuff marks on all the metal bolt mounting points, instead of just the ones caused by an attached metal bracket that spins freely in a circle against another piece of metal. Very sad experience that was compounded by poor customer service.
